Bar Crenn, opened in 2018 by the celebrated Chef Dominique Crenn, is an intimate and elegantly designed Japanese-inspired listening bar under the Crenn Dining Group umbrella. It serves as a cozy community hub where guests can enjoy a thoughtfully crafted ambiance that encourages conversation and connection. Bar Crenn includes Le Comptoir Crenn, a one Michelin star dining experience featuring a live kitchen with ever-changing menus inspired by the daily bounty of produce and seafood. Additionally, the dining room offers lounge seating with a selection of light, luxurious small bites that pair uniquely with an exquisite array of wines, spirits, and cocktails. Bar Crenn operates on a full-time basis and offers a competitive wage range from $23 to $27 per hour, plus tips. Reporting to the Beverage Director, the team members at Bar Crenn enjoy comprehensive benefits including paid time off, 401K plans, health, dental, and vision insurance, dining discounts, and wellness programs.
The Server role at Bar Crenn is vital in ensuring guests have an exceptional and memorable dining experience. Servers act as the primary point of contact for guests, guiding them through the unique culinary philosophy of Crenn with warmth, knowledge, and attentiveness. Beyond delivering impeccable service, Servers serve as liaisons between the culinary team and server assistants, ensuring seamless coordination of food and beverage service. The role demands a sophisticated understanding of food and wine, strong communication skills cultivated through years of experience, and a positive, poised demeanor. Servers may be called upon to support service at Atelier Crenn, the sister restaurant, highlighting the importance of flexibility and teamwork within the Crenn Dining Group.
