The company is currently seeking energetic and friendly individuals to join their team as Servers. As a Server at Golden Corral under GRO-FS, Inc., you will be the face of the restaurant, directly interacting with guests to create an enjoyable dining experience. Success in this role requires maintaining a clean and neat appearance, demonstrating a positive disposition, and exhibiting courtesy toward all customers. Servers are expected to follow the well-defined Eight Steps of Service to guarantee high standards of hospitality and promote guest return visits. The position also involves active participation in teamwork, assisting fellow servers to deliver outstanding service efficiently.
Operational excellence is a key aspect of the Server's daily duties. This includes understanding product specifications thoroughly, ensuring accuracy between guest orders and receipts, performing opening and closing procedures, and adhering to health and safety regulations. Servers are responsible for recognizing and reporting any equipment or facility issues promptly to management and following proper table bussing protocols to maintain cleanliness and order in the guest areas.
In addition to hospitality and operational responsibilities, the Server role requires commitment to cleanliness by following the duty roster and meeting service and quality standards. Compliance with local health department laws is crucial in maintaining the restaurant's high hygiene standards.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Reliable and punctual
- Basic food safety knowledge

Job Duties
- Ensures guest satisfaction and promotes return visits by following the Eight Steps of Service
- Practices positive public relations through ensuring our restaurant is welcoming and an inclusive environment for all guests
- Aware of the guests’ needs and works to make the guests’ experience pleasurable
- Shows enthusiasm and knowledge about new products and special promotions
- Promotes teamwork by assisting other Servers to ensure outstanding guest service
- Thoroughly understands product specifications and ensures guests’ receipts match the number of guests dining in their party
- Performs opening and closing procedures and side work duties
- Brings equipment and facility problems to the attention of the Manager
- Familiar with the correct table bussing procedures
- Follows safe work practices to ensure personal safety and the safety of other Co-workers and guests
- Performs duty roster and meets cleanliness, service, and quality standards
- Follows local health department laws
