The ideal candidate will be physically able to perform duties that involve standing for long periods and lifting trays weighing up to 25 pounds. Weekend availability, particularly on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, is highly preferred to meet peak business demands. Employees are also expected to have or obtain certification such as TIPS or RAMP to guarantee responsible service of alcoholic beverages.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a restaurant or customer service role preferred
- TIPS or RAMP certification required before first non-training shift
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- physical ability to stand for up to 5 hours and lift trays up to 25 pounds
- weekend availability preferred
- willingness to work as part of a team
- capable of following instructions and management communications
- basic math proficiency
- familiarity with point-of-sale systems
Job Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions
- TIPS or RAMP certified before first non-training shift
- possess basic math skills
- ability to handle money and operate point-of-sale system
- able to stand for long periods
- able to safely lift and maneuver trays up to 25 pounds

Job Duties
- Welcome and greet guests
- inform guests of specials and menu changes
- make recommendations guests will enjoy
- answer questions about food, beverages and restaurant services
- properly ID guests 35 and younger
- take food and beverage orders and enter them in point-of-sale system
- deliver food and beverages in a timely manner
- perform side work at start and end of shifts
- maintain clean service areas
- monitor and ensure guest satisfaction
- prepare final bill and process payment
- assist fellow servers and bus-person with clearing and resetting tables
- thank guests and invite them to return
- fill in as needed to ensure smooth operation
- utilize POS and HotSchedules application properly
- read all management messages via HotSchedules before shifts
