We are currently seeking passionate and energetic Servers to join the California Pizza Kitchen team. Servers at CPK play an essential role in maintaining the high standards of hospitality that make the brand unique. This role is perfect for individuals who love working in a fast-paced, social setting and have a strong passion for food and customer service. Servers are responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences by attentively catering to guests' needs and promoting the menu with genuine enthusiasm. This is a full and part-time position offering competitive compensation with an hourly pay rate of $16.90. Additionally, team members are eligible for tips, flexible shifts, and a variety of comprehensive benefits packages, including health, dental, and disability insurance, as well as 401K options, depending on coverage eligibility.
Server team members at CPK are expected to uphold company policies, including strict food safety and allergen handling procedures. They must be proficient in operating the point-of-sale (POS) systems, ensure accuracy in cash handling, and hold any state-mandated beverage service certifications as required. The server role requires teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to California Pizza Kitchen’s High 5 service standards, which include showing enthusiasm for the brand, fostering a fun and authentic work environment, collaborating effectively with colleagues, focusing obsessively on service details, and passionately selling menu items.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in food service or customer service preferred
- availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ability to operate POS system
- compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to communicate effectively
- possession of required beverage service certification in applicable states
Job Qualifications
