Job Requirements
- Provide minimum 2 years full-service restaurant experience or equivalent
- Know menu and specials
- Know wine list
- Know liquor list and special drinks
- Know accounting procedures
- Know layout of restaurant including table and station numbers
- Understand individual restaurant orientation material including rules and philosophies
- Meet personal schedule requirements punctually
- Be courteous, pleasant and good natured
- Respond to difficult guests with patience and courtesy
- Accept constructive criticism
- Get along with co-workers
- Maintain clean, well manicured appearance
- Stand and walk for an entire shift
- Safely transport food from kitchen to guest table over slick, uneven surfaces
- Transport food to service a party of 4 in a single trip
- Continuously transport food and beverage items during shifts
- Move safely about all areas of the restaurant
- Work nights, weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years full-service restaurant experience or equivalent
- Knowledge of menu and specials
- Familiarity with wine list
- Understanding of liquor list and special drinks
- Knowledge of accounting procedures
- Familiarity with layout of restaurant including table numbers and station numbers
- Understanding of individual restaurant orientation material including rules and philosophies
- Punctual and reliable
- Courteous, pleasant, and good natured
- Ability to respond to the needs of difficult guests with patience and courtesy
- Willingness to accept constructive criticism
- Ability to get along with co-workers
- Professional appearance that reflects the restaurant’s image
- Physical stamina to stand and walk for an entire shift
- Ability to safely transport food and beverage items

Job Duties
- Effectively service a 6 table station
- Accurately account for and balance all sales and receipts
- Communicate clearly with the kitchen both verbally and utilizing the computer register system
- Present and encourage current promotional information and materials to guest
- Accurately account for all guest checks issued
- Accurately record and account for all items ordered and served
- Accurately accept payment from guest
- Notify guest of any automatic gratuity
- Perform calmly under pressure, handling multiple tasks simultaneously
- Communicate with guest clearly, patiently, and courteously
- Perform varied duties to ensure all aspects of service according to standing operating procedure
