Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- One year of serving experience preferred
- Ability to read, write and understand English to communicate with residents, guests and staff
- Manual dexterity to use kitchen utensils such as knives and spoons
- Physical ability to stand, walk, climb stairs and bend during entire shift
- Ability to lift or carry, push or pull up to 50 pounds

Job Duties
- Enhance the overall dining experience for residents, family members and guests
- Assist in delivery of culinary activities for all dining venues including Bistro, Casual, Formal, Luminations® memory care and Club Room
- Provide service during special events and private functions
- Maintain The Sterling Touch® standards by being professional, friendly, courteous, helpful and timely
- Work under guidance of Executive Chef and Dining Room Supervisor in accordance with community standards, processes and procedures
- Communicate effectively with residents, guests and team members
- Ensure cleanliness and presentation of dining areas
