Job Requirements

  • Must be at least eighteen (18) years old
  • Must be an American citizen or Green Card holder
  • Ability to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, 7 days per week for up to 28 weeks
  • Must pass pre-employment drug test including marijuana and other controlled substances
  • Strict prohibition of alcohol consumption while onboard
  • Must meet grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
  • Ability to perform emergency and safety functions on the ship
  • Physical fitness to handle moderate effects such as lifting, bending, climbing, standing or walking for extended periods
  • This is a temporary position not to exceed 28 weeks

Job Qualifications

  • At least eighteen (18) years of age
  • American citizen or Green Card holder
  • Willingness to work minimum 12-hour shifts seven days a week for up to 28 weeks
  • Ability to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and standing or walking for extended periods
  • Ability to maintain composure and a positive attitude under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Provide guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience
  • Set up and break down breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktail hour including tables, linen, silverware, china and glassware
  • Cater to all culinary requests efficiently
  • Acknowledge guests by name, escort them to their tables, present food and beverage menus, suggest courses and wines, and answer menu questions
  • Relay orders to the galley and serve courses and beverages with proper presentation and garnishing
  • Perform additional duties such as greeting guests upon embarkation, serving afternoon teas and snacks, and catering evening entertainment
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in dining areas
