Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of two years experience in hospitality or food & beverage industry
- Ability to obtain or possess Cicerone Certified Beer Server certification
- Ability to work in fast-paced team environments
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic financial skills
- Ability to use POS systems
- Ability to follow schedules and policies
- Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- Possess valid New Mexico Alcohol Server License and Food Handler Card
- Ability to physically handle lifting up to 50 pounds
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance
Job Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Bartending experience is preferred
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of two years experience in the hospitality or food & beverage industry
- Previous brewery or craft beer experience preferred
- Ability to obtain or possess a Cicerone Certified Beer Server certification within a set timeframe
- Ability to work as a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and team orientation
- Basic financial skills including handling transactions and balancing cash drawers
- Ability to use spreadsheets for inventory tracking and basic data entry
- Working knowledge of POS systems, preferably Toast
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, bilingual English-Spanish preferred
- Ability to follow schedules, menus, SOPs, and policies
- Professional appearance
- Ability to physically handle kegs and work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- Must have or be able to maintain a valid New Mexico Alcohol Server License and Food Handler Card
- First Aid and/or CPR certification preferred
- Ability to adhere to company rules and policies
Job Duties
- Enthusiastically represent the Bosque Brewing Co. brand, beverages, and company values by engaging in positive gestures of respect, courtesy and kindness to internal and external guests consistent with Bosque Brewing Co. values and expectations
- Display a sense of urgency and attention to detail by anticipating the guests' needs and responding appropriately
- Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge about Bosque Brewing Co. beverages, proper beer pouring techniques, brewing process, and food served at the taproom or restaurant, including specific ingredients that are commonly associated with either food allergies or specific dietary needs
- Maintain a clean, friendly and welcoming environment, specifically responsible for maintaining cleanliness and properly stocked items in all areas of the front-of house, bar areas including counters, sinks, plates, glassware, office (common coworker areas), and storage areas
- Follow the Bosque Brewing Co. steps of service throughout the entire guest experience including greeting guests in a positive manner within one minute of arrival, answering questions, making suggestions, checking identification, carrying out service including pouring and serving beverages, taking food orders, establishing positive guest relations, monitoring for intoxication and adhering to company policy regarding service refusal, processing payments, bidding farewell to guests, independently resolving guest concerns, answering inquiries, performing opening/closing duties, and completing side work as assigned
- Ensure communication from management to coworkers is maintained
- Assist management with inventory, developing procedures, and training as assigned
- Comply with all federal, state, and company policies and support coworkers with tasks and projects
