Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior restaurant experience preferred
  • Valid RAMP/TIPS certification
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Demonstrated knowledge of beer, wine and food service
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tables and customer needs effectively
  • Knowledge of POS systems
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • Describes menu and daily specials
  • Takes orders and enters them into the POS system
  • Delivers beer and wine lists
  • May open and pour wine when serving guests
  • Make sure customers have everything they need to enjoy their meals
  • Observes diners to ensure they are satisfied with food and service
  • Responds to additional requests
  • Rings up bill and accepts payment or refers guests to cashier
  • May assist bus person in stocking, removing and resetting dishes and silverware between courses, and cleaning and resetting vacated tables
  • Possesses superior beer, wine and food knowledge
  • Prepares table and maintains throughout service
  • Runs food quickly and accurately
  • Communicates with the kitchen
  • Manages section and service
  • Maintains side work throughout shift
  • Attends required trainings and meetings
  • Delivers an exceptional experience through outstanding hospitality and food service to the guests
