Job Qualifications

Ability to understand and follow instructions in English
effective communication skills
experience serving tables in hotels, restaurants, or clubs preferred but will train
ability to interpret and explain menu
ability to coordinate meal service process and understand requests
ability to work cooperatively with residents, guests, families, supervisors, and peers
requires courtesy, tact, and graciousness
wears appropriate black non-slip footwear

Job Duties

Assists in maintaining a high level of customer service for residents and their guests
sets tables and maintains workstations in proper order
takes orders, provides service and requested items courteously
clears dishes during and after meal service
answers questions about menu items
keeps work areas clean and orderly
maintains neat appearance and good personal hygiene
completes opening and closing side work timely
adheres to time clock procedures and avoids unauthorized overtime
participates in on-call rotation with 24/7 availability for coverage
responds promptly to supervision
maintains punctuality and thoroughness in duties
