Job Requirements

At least 18 years of age
required health screening, TB clearance, and criminal record clearance
special licenses, certifications, and certificates such as First Aid/CPR
special skills needed to meet client needs according to California Code of Regulations Sections 85065(f) and 87411(g)
previous experience as a server preferred

Job Duties

Greet residents as they are seated at the table
ensure the table is clean and that utensils, napkins, and other needs have been provided
distribute menus and present the daily specials
answer questions regarding the menu
take orders and serve meals and beverages according to residents' preferences and dietary requirements
deliver food and beverage orders to the kitchen
ensure food is prepared correctly and to residents' satisfaction
return incorrect or improperly cooked orders to kitchen
collect plates and clear tables as residents finish their meals
assist with cleaning the dining area and preparing silverware and condiments
maintain a steady supply of clean dishes and equipment during meal service
support kitchen cleanup by removing trash, sweeping, mopping, and maintaining overall cleanliness
deliver food, beverages, condiments, and other requested items to customers
perform other related duties as assigned
