Job Requirements

18+ years old
reliable transportation required
ability to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for up to four hours
ability to wipe down tables, booths, and pick up debris
ability to transport plates, glasses, and baskets multiple times per shift
good sense of balance and ability to reach, bend, stoop, kneel
ability to lift and bus pans and trays frequently weighing 25 pounds
ability to speak clearly and listen attentively
ability to transport objects such as high chairs weighing up to 15 pounds
friendly and engaging demeanor
ability to communicate and behave professionally at all times

Job Qualifications

High school degree or GED preferred
prior server experience preferred
ServeSafe Food Certification a plus
friendly and engaging demeanor
reading, writing, basic math and verbal communication skills required

Job Duties

Delivers food and drinks to guests using Applebee's team delivery
interacts verbally with all bar guests creating a friendly and upbeat atmosphere
greets guests, answers questions, and makes suggestions regarding food and drinks
completes assigned opening and closing side work
presents guest checks to dining room patrons and handles transactions
relays food orders to kitchen via point-of-sale system in timely and accurate manner
serves alcohol according to all state and federal laws, company and brand policies
participates in clearing and resetting tables using Applebee's team delivery
observes guests, responds to requests, and anticipates guests' needs
maintains clean and organized work area
explains and demonstrates usage of tabletop electronic devices
drives sales with suggestive selling
writes and repeats guests' orders for accuracy
accommodates special needs of guests such as booster chairs and high chairs
may serve guests in Host/Hostess or Carside To-Go Server roles occasionally
performs general utility functions as requested by management
