Job Requirements

Proof of age as per state alcohol laws
completion of basic food handling training and any local or state mandated certification
completion of safe alcohol service training program if working with alcohol
availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
regular and consistent attendance
energetic and friendly attitude during each shift
excellent guest service skills
accurate cash handling and basic math skills
ability to communicate effectively in English
ability to work in a team environment and independently
ability to take and follow direction
respond with a sense of urgency

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
prior serving or bar experience in a full-service restaurant preferred
basic understanding of food handling and safety standards
ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing
team player with ability to work independently
ability to follow directions and respond with urgency
excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

Job Duties

Greet guests with a smile in a timely and professional manner
possess full knowledge of bar and menu items in a fast-paced environment to enhance the guest experience
accurately record food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner
verify identification to confirm guests are at least 21 years of age for all alcohol transactions
ensure that alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
seat guests when applicable
consistently use suggestive selling techniques
collaborate with kitchen team to ensure that food orders are accurate
deliver food and beverage orders within established time frames
consistently wipe down and sanitize employee and guest high-contact areas
properly utilize personal protective equipment while completing position specific tasks
adapt to the frequency and scope of required cleaning tasks
monitor safety and security issues and report to management
perform other work-related duties as assigned
