Job Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Able to lift or move up to approximately 40 pounds frequently
- Ability to bend, kneel, and stoop frequently
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals
- Ability to stand for the entire duration of a shift
- Flexibility to work scheduled shifts based on business needs

Job Duties
- Explain to guests about the restaurant offerings and specials
- Suggest seasonal menu items and sell additional products such as drinks, soup, appetizers, and dessert
- Ensure all guests are greeted in a friendly, timely, and professional manner
- Coordinate with the kitchen to meet special ingredient and food preparation requirements
- Remember regular guests' names and orders to provide personalized service
- Ensure timely delivery of orders from the kitchen and prepare dishes as necessary with sauce and garnishes
- Keep guests informed about the status of their food and drink orders
- Perform proper wine opening and serving procedures
- Arrange dishes properly on the table
- Engage guests in conversation to enhance their dining experience
- Anticipate guests' needs such as condiments and drink refills proactively
- Conduct prompt quality check backs to ensure satisfaction and respond swiftly to requests or complaints
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, promptly clean spills and report safety hazards
- Perform opening and closing routines for the dining room and workstations as needed
