Job Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcoholic beverages in California
minimum two years experience in fast-paced restaurant or bar
ability to work in elevated temperature environments
ability to lift at least 25 pounds
ability to work quickly and safely in tight-space environments
maintain neat clean and well-groomed appearance according to company standards

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
minimum of two years experience in a fast-paced restaurant or bar
must be at least 21 years old to serve alcoholic beverages in the state of California
food handlers card preferred
ABC service certification preferred
CPR certification or First Aid training preferred
ability to read write and speak English proficient verbal communication skills
extensive knowledge of food and beverage etiquette guest relations and service standards
knowledge of proper food handling requirements
basic mathematical skills
knowledge of bar and kitchen items
knowledge of daily maintenance and cleaning of venue
knowledge of all required legal documents such as ABC, Health Department, Police, City regulations

Job Duties

Maintain a positive high well-balanced energy level throughout the entire shift
have strong interpersonal communication skills to greet guests answer guest questions and address concerns warmly professionally and accommodatingly
provide multiple guests food and beverage service in server's section quickly professionally and efficiently
knowledge of and ability to accurately describe all food and beverage offerings and specials
take accurate orders while maximizing sales using selling techniques and product knowledge
exhibit consistently dependable reliable punctual and trustworthy conduct
provide exemplary guest service consistently
correct and accurate execution of the POS system
follow all cash handling procedures and guidelines
comply with ABC laws and company policies regarding alcoholic beverages service
complete assigned cleaning duties including stocking and organization
perform assigned side-work quickly and efficiently
properly set up and break down stations before and after operating hours
