Job Requirements

Weekend availability needed
One or more years of experience in food service
Valid Food Handlers card
OLCC permit
Ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy environment
Strong communication skills
Ability to maneuver within the restaurant and use restaurant equipment
Commitment to teamwork and customer service standards

Job Qualifications

One or more years of experience working in high-volume and/or guest-facing food service
Valid Food Handlers card
OLCC permit
Working knowledge and/or exposure to dining room and service standards, procedures, and functions
Ability to distinguish different tastes such as sweet and bitter
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to continued learning about Japanese cuisine and beverages

Job Duties

Work as a team with FOH and BOH to ensure consistent and timely experience for guests through customer service and food quality
Actively assist fellow team members in meeting the needs of guests
Follow company policies, state and food safety and sanitation standards
Continue education surrounding Japanese cuisine and beverages
Perform additional duties specific to the server or bartender position
Maintain valid Food Handlers card and OLCC permit
Provide excellent communication and customer service in a fast-paced environment
