Job Requirements

  • Valid RAMP/TIPS certification
  • Prior restaurant experience preferred
  • Ability to stand and walk regularly
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly
  • Dependability and punctuality
  • Ability to follow safety and security procedures
  • Must be able to perform essential job duties satisfactorily

Job Duties

  • Describes menu and daily specials
  • Takes orders and enters them into the POS system
  • Delivers beer and wine lists
  • Opens and pours wine when serving guests
  • Ensures customers have everything they need to enjoy their meals
  • Observes diners to ensure satisfaction with food and service
  • Responds to additional requests
  • Rings up bills and accepts payment or refers guests to cashier
  • Assists bus person in stocking, removing and resetting dishes and silverware
  • Prepares table and maintains throughout service
  • Runs food quickly and accurately
  • Communicates with the kitchen
  • Manages section and service
  • Maintains side work throughout shift
  • Attends required trainings and meetings
  • Delivers exceptional hospitality and food service
