Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
- must pass pre-employment drug test including screening for marijuana and controlled substances
- must adhere to safety and emergency training protocols
- ability to work long hours and maintain endurance
- ability to maintain professional grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
- legal authorization to work in the United States
- temporary employment commitment for 28 weeks
Job Qualifications
- At least eighteen years of age
- American citizen or Green Card holder
- ability to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, 7 days a week, for up to 28 weeks
- ability to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, standing and walking for extended periods
- ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- compliance with grooming standards
- willingness to abstain from alcohol consumption while on duty
Job Duties
- Provide guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience
- efficiently set up and break down breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktail hour including setting tables, arranging linen, silverware, china and glassware
- cater to all culinary requests in an efficient manner
- acknowledge guests by name, escort them to their tables, present menus, suggest courses and wines, and answer menu-related questions
- relay orders to the galley and serve courses and beverages with care ensuring presentation and garnishes
- perform additional duties such as greeting guests upon embarkation, serving afternoon teas and snacks, and catering evening entertainment events
