Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
  • must pass pre-employment drug test including screening for marijuana and controlled substances
  • must adhere to safety and emergency training protocols
  • ability to work long hours and maintain endurance
  • ability to maintain professional grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
  • legal authorization to work in the United States
  • temporary employment commitment for 28 weeks

Job Qualifications

  • At least eighteen years of age
  • American citizen or Green Card holder
  • ability to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, 7 days a week, for up to 28 weeks
  • ability to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, standing and walking for extended periods
  • ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • compliance with grooming standards
  • willingness to abstain from alcohol consumption while on duty

Job Duties

  • Provide guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience
  • efficiently set up and break down breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktail hour including setting tables, arranging linen, silverware, china and glassware
  • cater to all culinary requests in an efficient manner
  • acknowledge guests by name, escort them to their tables, present menus, suggest courses and wines, and answer menu-related questions
  • relay orders to the galley and serve courses and beverages with care ensuring presentation and garnishes
  • perform additional duties such as greeting guests upon embarkation, serving afternoon teas and snacks, and catering evening entertainment events
