Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
at least 1 year of customer service or hospitality experience preferred
strong communication and interpersonal skills
ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
must be physically fit to handle job demands
willingness to live and work aboard ship for 28 weeks
pass all required background checks and drug tests
comply with company grooming standards
US citizenship or permanent resident status
ability to follow safety protocols and emergency procedures

Job Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age
American citizen or Green Card holder
ability to work minimum 12 hours per day, 7 days a week for up to 28 weeks
physical ability to meet moderate demands including lifting, bending, climbing, standing, and walking
willing to comply with pre-employment drug testing including marijuana and other substances
commitment to no alcohol consumption while on duty
ability to participate in emergency and safety training
adhere to grooming standards regarding visible tattoos and piercings
positive attitude and calm under pressure

Job Duties

Provide guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience
set up and break down breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktail hour including tables, linen, silverware, china, and glassware
cater to all culinary requests efficiently
acknowledge guests by name, escort to tables, present menus, suggest courses and wines, and answer menu questions
relay orders to galley and serve courses and beverages with care ensuring presentation and garnishing
perform additional functions like greeting guests upon embarkation, serving afternoon teas and snacks, and catering evening entertainment
maintain high standards of hospitality consistent with company values
