Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Excellent communication skills
Ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Ensure guest satisfaction and promote return visits by following the Eight Steps of Service
Practice positive public relations by ensuring the restaurant is welcoming and inclusive for all guests
Be aware of guests' needs and work to make their experience pleasurable
Show enthusiasm and knowledge about new products and special promotions
Promote teamwork by assisting other servers to ensure outstanding guest service
Thoroughly understand product specifications and ensure guests' receipts match the number of guests dining in their party
Perform opening and closing procedures and side work duties
Bring equipment and facility problems to the attention of the manager
Follow correct table bussing procedures
Follow safe work practices to ensure personal safety and the safety of coworkers and guests
Perform duty roster and meet cleanliness, service, and quality standards
Follow local health department laws
