Job Requirements

Must be a minimum of sixteen years of age
must possess, at a minimum, a 10th grade education or equivalent work experience
have 1 year experience as a server or in a similar food service environment
working knowledge of health and safety policies and procedures
freedom from illegal use of drugs
freedom from use and effects of drugs and alcohol in the workplace
ineligibility for employment if found guilty of abuse, neglect, or mistreatment in a healthcare setting
demonstrates effective time management skills

Job Duties

Take resident meal orders and serve meals correctly and efficiently
provide exceptional customer service while engaging with coworkers and residents
maintain heightened awareness for food allergies and preferences
deliver meals, food and drinks to residents and their guests with efficiency and professionalism
clean and reset dining areas, food service areas, and residents' rooms as needed
engage with residents and community members with charm, professionalism, and respect
maintain a working knowledge of menu items, preparation, ingredients, and presentation
relay dining needs, preferences, and special requests from residents to the kitchen
use technology such as Point of Sale systems for clear communication
uphold responsibilities related to customer service, food service, and communication
