Job Duties

  • Greet and seat guests promptly, providing menus and offering a warm welcome
  • Present menu items and daily specials, providing recommendations as needed
  • Take accurate food and drink orders and enter them into the point-of-sale system
  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and courteous manner
  • Anticipate guest needs and ensure a high level of service throughout their dining experience
  • Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and ensure issues are resolved promptly
  • Ensure that tables, chairs, and dining areas are clean and well-organized
  • Assist with resetting tables for the next guests
  • Process payments, provide accurate bills, and manage the checkout process efficiently
  • Complete assigned opening and closing duties, including sidework, cleaning, and stocking
  • Comply with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling, hygiene, and sanitation procedures
  • Juggle the responsibilities of serving multiple tables at once, ensuring all guests are attended to without long waits
  • Assist other servers, host, bar, or kitchen staff during busy shifts to ensure smooth operations
  • Other duties as assigned
