Job Requirements
- Previous server experience in restaurant or hospitality sector required or minimum six months experience working in a host, busser or similar guest interfacing position
- Must have good performance and manager references
- 18 years of age or older as required by state law
- Ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system
- Food handler's card and alcohol awareness training certification where required by state and local laws
- Eligible to work in the United States

Job Duties
- Assumes 100% responsibility for quality guests' experience
- Welcome and greet guests within two minutes of being seated
- Inform guests of specials and menu changes
- Offer specific beverage, appetizer, entrée, and dessert recommendations upon request or as deemed enjoyable
- Answer questions about food, beverages and restaurant services
- Take food and beverage orders and enter them in the POS system
- Deliver food and beverages from kitchen and bar to guests promptly
- Clean and prepare tables for menu items
- Perform side work during each shift as required by service station assignment
- Maintain clean and stocked service and dining areas
- Monitor guests' dining experience and ensure satisfaction
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests
- Provide proactive beverage refills
- Prepare and present final bill, accept payment, and process transactions through POS system
- Assist fellow servers proactively
- Express appreciation to guests and invite them to return
- Attend scheduled employee meetings and contribute suggestions
- Notify manager-on-duty of any guest dissatisfaction
- Cover other servers’ duties while on break as requested
- Participate in scheduled catering events
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
