Job Requirements

Must have a certified food handlers card and responsible beverage service training
Must be 21+ years of age
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Basic understanding of beer, wine, and spirits is preferred
Must have excellent time management skills
Must be able to maintain a professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment
Must be reliable, responsible, and trustworthy
Must have high energy, great communication skills, and be able to work as part of a team
Must be able to stand during entire shift, often up to 8 hours with frequent bending, squatting, and lifting plates, boxes, and objects up to 30lbs
Must have attention to detail and willingness to deliver exceptional customer service

Job Qualifications

Experience in a high-volume, fine dining environment
Knowledge of food and beverage service standards
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Willingness to receive and offer direction
Hospitality-driven mindset
Basic understanding of beer, wine, and spirits is preferred

Job Duties

Guide guests through all phases of their experience at the restaurant
Clearly and proficiently inform customers of Chef's specials, menu changes and additions, and answer any questions
Take food and beverage orders, suggestively selling specific menu items
Oversee table maintenance and coordinate table service with fellow team members
Work alongside bussers to clear and reset tables and maintain service stations stocked with silverware, glassware, share plates, condiments, sugar, coffee, tea, etc
Respond to guests' needs with a proactive approach
Maintain a clean and sanitized work environment
Maintain appropriate inventory and proper condition of equipment and operating supplies
Communicate with management, and all other service staff regarding all customer needs, comments, or incidents
Follow all procedures and policies set forth by the company, division, and Health Department
Attend daily pre-shift meetings to review what is expected of service before the shift starts
Perform all opening and closing duties as assigned
