Job Requirements
- Ability to meet or exceed the company's attendance and punctuality standards
- Ability to lift or carry weight up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, taste and/or smell
- Must be free of diseases that can be transmitted in the performance of job responsibilities during the stage of communicability
- Ability to work in an environment with moderate noise and exposure to blood and/or body fluids
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience in a similar position desired
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English fluently
- Ability to use miscellaneous software and office equipment
- Ability to understand and follow directions as given
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain professionalism and ethical standards
Job Duties
- Serve meals and buss tables with a warm, friendly, courteous, respectful and engaging demeanor
- Help team members and participate in setting up and breaking down dining room tables and wait stations prior to and following meals, ensuring that the dining room is prepared for the next meal
- Participate in the training of new team members
- Assist with dining service for special functions, private dining events, and special guests
- Clear tables, replace linens, set tables, and ensure that the dining room is clean and attractive
- Clean equipment, furniture, appliances, floors, drains, storage area, refrigerator, freezer and sinks according to schedule
- Keep the environment safe, clean, and free of clutter
