Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in food service or customer service preferred
Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Ability to stand and walk for long periods
Attention to detail and multitasking skills
Food handler’s permit if required by local regulations

Job Qualifications

Previous server or customer service experience preferred
Ability to provide excellent customer service
Knowledge of food and beverage menus and preparation

Job Duties

Ensuring the guest dining experience is enjoyable, well-timed, and pleasant
Providing a professional and inviting attitude when interacting with guests and employees
Helping guests select menu items by explaining food and bar menus, recommending cocktails, suggesting courses, explaining chef's features, and identifying wines
Thoroughly answering all food and beverage preparation questions
Making managers aware of special guest accommodations such as food allergies before reporting to the kitchen
Maintaining cleanliness of tables and dining area around guests
Completing opening, running, and closing side work related to job duties
