Job Requirements

Pre-employment drug test including marijuana and other controlled substances
Abstain from alcohol consumption during employment
Complete emergency and safety training essential for ship operation
Temporary employment not exceeding 28 weeks
Willingness to work intensively in a team environment
Ability to provide conscientious and safe service to guests

Job Qualifications

Be at least eighteen years of age
Be an American citizen or Green Card holder
Ability to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, 7 days a week, for up to 28 weeks
Meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, and extended periods of standing or walking
Maintain grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
Possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well under pressure
Maintain a positive attitude and composure in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

Provide guests an elegant and memorable dining experience
Efficiently set up and break down breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktail hour including setting tables, arranging linen, silverware, china, and glassware
Cater to all culinary requests in an efficient manner
Acknowledge guests by name, escort them to their tables, present menus, suggest courses and wines, and answer questions regarding menu items
Relay orders to the galley and serve courses and beverages with care, ensuring presentation and garnishing
Perform additional functions such as greeting guests upon embarkation, serving afternoon teas and snacks, and catering evening entertainment
