Job Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
able to work days, nights and weekends as required
able to stand and walk throughout entire shift
able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
able to work in a noisy and fast-paced environment
able to read and write handwritten notes
able to reach, bend and stoop frequently
able to communicate effectively in English
comply with company dress code and appearance standards

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
previous experience in customer service or hospitality is beneficial
ability to operate a point-of-sale system such as Micros
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
basic math skills for handling transactions
ability to work as part of a team
knowledge of sanitation and hygiene standards
understanding of alcohol service policies
strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Job Duties

Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through food, drinks and games in a fun environment
keep immediate supervisor informed of significant issues and take corrective action when necessary
create a warm and fun atmosphere for guests and team members
adhere to company sanitation procedures
manage financial transactions accurately including credit card processing and cash handling
follow alcohol awareness protocols to prevent intoxication and handle difficult guests
greet guests promptly and take accurate food and drink orders
maintain thorough knowledge of menu items to answer guest questions
enter orders into Micros system quickly and accurately
ensure food presentation and delivery are timely and correct
work efficiently following the philosophy of full hands in, full hands out
assist in party setup and breakdown and bus and reset tables
support other team members as needed
manage sales on personal Micros keys and complete station work at shift start and end
participate in sales incentives and brand promotion
follow portion control guidelines to manage costs
ensure ongoing guest satisfaction by checking back after food delivery and maintaining drink levels
keep work station clean and organized
maintain positive working relationships with all team members
communicate effectively with guests to promote enthusiasm for the Dave & Buster's experience
operate Micros system and handle all monetary transactions accurately
communicate in English clearly
follow company dress code standards
must be at least 18 years old
