Job Requirements

  • 0-2 years related experience
  • strong knowledge of commonly used restaurant concepts, practices, and procedures
  • ability to perform physical tasks including standing for entire shifts and lifting up to 50 pounds
  • ability to handle and operate food prep equipment safely
  • ability to communicate verbally and interact comfortably with guests
  • willingness to follow updated safety and sanitation guidelines

  • capacity to prioritize and organize tasks effectively

Job Duties

  • Take guest orders using menu knowledge and situational selling techniques
  • serve food and beverages promptly ensuring all items meet company standards
  • communicate professionally with guests to determine their needs and assist with menu selections
  • promote new products and promotions to guests
  • maintain knowledge of menu items and describe food properly
  • input orders accurately into the POS system
  • pre-bus tables and assist with approved side work as needed
  • practice safe food and beverage handling and clean up
  • safely use food prep equipment such as knives and coffee makers
  • handle guest complaints professionally and involve management when necessary
  • interact with guests to provide a comfortable dining experience
  • assist in other job categories as required
  • perform all other duties as assigned
