Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in serving or related hospitality roles preferred
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and staff
- adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
- capability to manage cash transactions accurately
- physical ability to stand and move for long periods
- flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- reliable and punctual

Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- take food and beverages orders efficiently following established steps of service
- deliver food promptly and professionally while maintaining safe food handling and sanitation standards
- follow up periodically to assist with any additional guest needs or requests
- demonstrate comprehensive understanding of menu items and ingredients, advising guests and accommodating special requests
- communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure correct orders and accommodate special requests
- collect tickets and follow proper cash-handling procedures
- promote a clean, safe, and neat environment for guests
- address complaints promptly and relay relevant information to supervisors
- ensure dining room setup and cleanliness before and after service periods
- operate equipment such as fire extinguishers, telephones, iced tea/soda machines, soup wells, and coffee machines
- collaborate with other departments during special events and functions
- perform other duties as assigned
