Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- One year of job-related experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation procedures
- Must comply with occupational health and safety regulations and risk management policies
- Ability to use company systems for order taking and meal delivery
- Ability to participate in team meetings and training sessions
- Must be able to complete assigned side work and other duties
- Completion of CPR and First Aid certification may be required
- ServSafe Food Handler Card or Local Health Department Food Handler Card may be required

Job Duties
- Cultivate a warm and hospitable environment by making personal connections with residents and guests and treating all with professionalism and respect
- Take and deliver food orders in a timely manner
- Bus and reset tables per company standards
- Clean and maintain the dining room and bistro to the highest standards per company guidelines
- Complete required side work as assigned
- Attend pre-meal meeting to gain knowledge of the meal
- Know menu items and provide general descriptions
- Assist residents with menu selections and respond professionally to questions about menu items
- Use Sunrise systems per guidelines for order taking and meal delivery to ensure accuracy
- Practice safe food handling procedures at all times
- Comply with occupational health and safety requirements and risk management programs
- Perform other dining services duties including dishwashing, light janitorial duties, food preparation assistance, and meal service as assigned
- Participate and commit to working toward team goals
- Demonstrate the Team Member Credo in daily interactions
- Commit to serving residents and guests through the Principles of Service
- Contribute to engagement programs for residents and team members
- Attend regular meetings such as Town Hall and Department Team meetings
- Maintain compliance with assigned training and other state or provincial requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
