Job Requirements

Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays when needed
Must have a valid Washington State Food Handler's card or obtain one prior to employment
Must be at least 16 years of age at date of hire
Minors in high school must obtain consent from parents and school
Must be able to pass a criminal background check
Must be willing to take a tuberculosis test onsite
Must be cheerful, enthusiastic, team player
Must be able to stand for full shift and carry trays of food and beverages
No specific server experience required but is a bonus
Experience working with older adults also a bonus

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in food service is a bonus
Experience working with older adults is beneficial
Ability to communicate clearly and work well in a team
Basic computer skills to enter orders
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

Greet guests and take meal orders
Enter orders into dining system accurately
Serve meals and beverages to residents
Bus tables and maintain cleanliness in dining rooms
Perform side work such as folding linens and cleaning
Communicate effectively with kitchen and management staff
Assist with special event meals and work at the on-site coffee shop/café
