Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be an American citizen or Green Card holder
- Able to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, 7 days a week, for up to 28 weeks
- Able to meet moderate physical demands such as lifting, bending, climbing, and extended standing or walking
- Willing to undergo pre-employment drug testing including testing for marijuana and other controlled substances
- No alcohol consumption allowed while on board
- Must adhere to grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
- This is a temporary employment position not to exceed 28 weeks of shipboard work
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- American citizen or Green Card holder
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to meet moderate physical demands including lifting, bending, climbing, standing, and walking for extended periods
- Must be able to work a minimum of 12 hours per day, 7 days a week, for up to 28 weeks
Job Duties
- Provide guests with an elegant and memorable dining experience
- Set up and break down meal services including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and cocktail hour
- Cater to all culinary requests efficiently
- Acknowledge guests by name, escort them to their tables, present food and beverage menus, suggest courses and wines, and answer questions
- Relay orders to the galley and serve courses and beverages properly garnished and decorated
- Perform additional functions such as greeting guests upon embarkation, serving afternoon teas and snacks, and catering evening entertainment
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and grooming as per company policies
