Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous food service experience preferred
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to stand and move for extended periods
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
Must comply with local health and safety regulations
Reliable and punctual

Previous experience in customer service or food service preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Job Duties

Ensures guest satisfaction and promotes return visits by following the Eight Steps of Service
Practices positive public relations through ensuring the restaurant is welcoming and inclusive
Aware of guests' needs and works to make the experience pleasurable
Shows enthusiasm and knowledge about new products and special promotions
Promotes teamwork by assisting other servers to ensure outstanding guest service
Understands product specifications and ensures receipts match guests dining
Performs opening and closing procedures and side work duties
Brings equipment and facility problems to manager's attention
Familiar with correct table bussing procedures
Follows safe work practices for personal and coworker safety
Performs duty roster and meets cleanliness, service, and quality standards
Follows local health department laws
