Job Requirements
- Minimum of 18 years of age to serve alcoholic beverages and 21 to pour
- two to three years of serving experience, fine dining preferred
- food handling certificate where applicable
- alcoholic awareness certification where applicable
- basic reading, writing and math skills
- strong communication skills
- strong organizational skills
- ability to handle problem resolution with customers or employees

Job Duties
- Provide a high level of customer service at all times
- anticipate resident's needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests
- maintain complete knowledge of restaurant operations, table set-up and dress code
- work closely with Food & Beverage Director and/or General Manager to keep residents satisfied
- set tables in accordance to Coterie standards
- serve meals and beverages as requested
- maintain compliance with state liquor regulations
- adhere to quality enhancement standards and food safety practices
- review daily menu with residents
- use POS systems effectively
- take and deliver accurate meal orders
- remove used plates and utensils
- clean and reset tables promptly
- maintain knowledge of menu items, preparation methods and presentation standards
- assist with special events and banquets
- adhere to payment and cash handling procedures
- process payments
- acquaint new residents with menus and dining options
- clean and sanitize dining areas and equipment
- complete side duties including stock management and napkin folding
- review reservations and accommodate special requests
- create teamwork and cooperation among staff
- attend pre-meal stand-up meetings
- perform other assigned duties as needed
