Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift and carry supplies and equipment up to 30 lbs
  • ability to raise a tray weighing up to 25 lbs to shoulder height
  • able to bend, stoop, reach, wipe, lift, and grab
  • sufficient mobility to move and operate in work area
  • able to stand and walk throughout a 4 to 8 hour shift
  • able to hear well in a loud environment
  • meet health regulations pertaining to food handling
  • able to observe and differentiate between monetary denominations
  • able to serve all menu products
  • able to operate point of sale system
  • able to work around potentially hazardous chemicals

Job Qualifications

  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English both orally and in writing
  • possess excellent guest service skills
  • basic math skills including add, subtract, multiply, and divide
  • ability to work in a team environment
  • dependable and able to learn basic tasks and follow instructions

Job Duties

  • Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously
  • take and deliver food and beverage orders accurately
  • suggestively sell menu items to increase guest check averages
  • operate point-of-sale system to process orders and payments
  • prepare beverages and certain appetizer, salad, and dessert items
  • check orders for completeness and presentation
  • respond to and address guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and service areas
  • assist team members as needed
  • complete all required side-work including deep cleaning assignments
