Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • at least 1 year of related work experience
  • ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods
  • ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds without assistance and over 50 pounds with assistance
  • strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
  • ability to move over sloping or uneven surfaces
  • ability to reach overhead and below the knees including bending and stooping
  • no supervisory experience required
  • must follow safety and security policies
  • maintain clean and professional appearance

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests
  • set tables according to event type and service standards
  • answer questions about menu selections
  • communicate with kitchen regarding menu questions, wait times, re-cook orders, and product availability
  • communicate meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to kitchen
  • record transactions in MICROS system at time of order
  • check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and beverages
  • maintain cleanliness of work areas and tableware
  • complete closing duties including restocking and turning off lights
  • present physical and accurate check to guest and process payment
  • follow all company safety and security policies
  • report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to manager
  • complete safety training and certifications
  • ensure clean and professional uniform and appearance
  • maintain confidentiality of proprietary information
  • protect company assets
  • welcome guests according to company standards
  • anticipate and address guests' service needs
  • assist individuals with disabilities
  • thank guests with genuine appreciation
  • communicate clearly and professionally
  • develop positive working relationships with team members
  • support team goals
  • listen and respond to employee concerns
  • ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
