Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of restaurant industry experience
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • meets state minimum age to serve alcohol
  • valid form of identification
  • ability to stand, walk, and handle objects for extended periods
  • physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • knowledge to perform basic math operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and ratios
  • ability to learn and utilize Toast POS and Restaurant365 systems
  • strong customer service orientation
  • ability to work under pressure
  • team player
  • flexibility and reliability
  • food handler certification may be required
  • emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills
  • ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions

Job Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in restaurant industry
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • knowledge and passion for tableside service, wine, and craft cocktails are a plus
  • meets state minimum age (18) to serve alcohol
  • ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
  • basic understanding of cleanliness and sanitation standards
  • excellent customer service skills with a polite and attentive demeanor
  • flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • able to work in a team serving environment
  • may require a food handler's certification depending on local regulations
  • must have basic knowledge of English
  • must be able to read, understand and follow verbal and written company directives
  • must demonstrate knowledge of government policies and regulations
  • ability to effectively answer questions and speak before groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public

Job Duties

  • Answer questions about the menu, sell restaurant's food and drinks, communicate orders with the kitchen
  • stay guest focused and sustain an excellent guest experience
  • possess strong food and beverage knowledge
  • keep all working stations clean, organized and properly stocked
  • perform daily and weekly cleaning duties
  • handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to guest
  • assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
