Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0-2 years of related experience
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods without rest
  • Ability to push, lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • Effective verbal communication skills
  • Ability to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects and tools
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and adjust focus visually
  • Ability to access all areas of the restaurant including selling floor, stock area, and register

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent guest service skills and experience
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to prioritize and good organizational skills
  • Computer skills including POS system experience
  • 0-2 years related experience in a restaurant setting
  • Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant

Job Duties

  • Takes guest orders utilizing menu knowledge and situational selling techniques
  • Serves food and beverages promptly, ensuring proper preparation and delivery following company standards
  • Communicates professionally with guests to determine their needs and assist with menu selections
  • Inputs orders accurately into the POS system
  • Pre-buses tables and assists with approved side work
  • Practices safe food and beverage handling and maintains cleanliness
  • Handles guest complaints effectively and escalates to management when appropriate
