Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years of related experience
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods without rest
- Ability to push, lift, carry, and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle or feel objects and tools
- Ability to bend, stoop, and adjust focus visually
- Ability to access all areas of the restaurant including selling floor, stock area, and register
Job Qualifications
- Excellent guest service skills and experience
- Ability to identify and resolve issues as they arise
- Detail oriented with the ability to multi-task
- Ability to prioritize and good organizational skills
- Computer skills including POS system experience
- 0-2 years related experience in a restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant
Job Duties
- Takes guest orders utilizing menu knowledge and situational selling techniques
- Serves food and beverages promptly, ensuring proper preparation and delivery following company standards
- Communicates professionally with guests to determine their needs and assist with menu selections
- Inputs orders accurately into the POS system
- Pre-buses tables and assists with approved side work
- Practices safe food and beverage handling and maintains cleanliness
- Handles guest complaints effectively and escalates to management when appropriate
