Job Requirements

  • Must be able to pass a thorough background check to obtain a gaming license
  • must be able to renew and maintain an active gaming license according to city requirements
  • ability to stand constantly during shifts
  • ability to frequently walk and reach with hands and arms
  • occasionally climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • regularly lift and move up to 25 pounds
  • occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • must have close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
  • must be able to talk and hear

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills
  • ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • ability to speak effectively before groups of guests or team members
  • basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists
  • high school diploma or GED preferred but not required
  • minimum of 1 year related experience or training preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner
  • take food and drink orders accurately
  • deliver food and drink orders in a timely manner
  • check back with guests often to inquire how their dining experience is progressing and to ensure satisfaction
  • maintain cleanliness throughout
  • follow safe California Food Handlers guidelines
  • promote teamwork efficiency by circulating the gaming floor and dining room for maximum availability and assisting others as needed
  • monitor and enforce all principles of responsible beverage service, liquor license guidelines, and company Alcohol Consumption policy
  • provide a fun, superior gaming and dining experience by establishing and maintaining good rapport with guests to promote continued patronage
  • report unsafe practices or hazardous conditions to the CSM, Security, or General Manager
  • report to CSM or Security any individuals who appear to be underage, intoxicated, or pose a threat to operations
  • attend annual AML/BSA training as scheduled
