Job Requirements

  • Arrives to work on time as scheduled in full uniform
  • Greets guests in a warm and friendly manner while acknowledging all guests within five feet
  • Follows the steps of service as defined in Miller's Ale House training materials
  • Provides highest level of service by adhering to Miller's Ale House service standards
  • Serves alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards and state alcohol service requirements
  • Works directly with other team members to ensure guest needs are fulfilled in a timely manner
  • Ensures menu knowledge including food allergy issues
  • Ensures proper food handling and sanitation
  • Maintains neat and organized work areas including sweeping and mopping as needed
  • Notifies management immediately of any potential issues
  • Works "To Go" station when assigned
  • Washes hands every 30 minutes during shift
  • Supports other front of house functions as needed
  • Positively communicates with team and management
  • Provides exceptional service throughout shift
  • Possesses strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in fast-paced environment
  • Ability to handle cash
  • Basic reading and handwriting skills
  • Minimum age 18 unless otherwise dictated by state law
  • Sets up team members for success by ensuring side work and stations are properly stocked at shift change

Job Qualifications

  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age unless otherwise dictated by state law
  • Possess strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work with numbers and handle cash
  • Basic reading and handwriting skills
  • Familiar with restaurant point-of-sale software
  • Demonstrated integrity and commitment to excellent service
  • Prior experience in customer service preferred

  • Works with other team members to ensure timely fulfillment of guest needs
  • Ensures menu knowledge including food allergy awareness
  • Maintains neat and organized server stations and front-of-house work areas
  • Notifies management immediately of potential issues with guests, team members, or long ticket times
  • Works the "To Go" station as assigned by management
  • Washes hands every 30 minutes during shifts
  • Maintains clean and sanitized work areas
  • Supports front of house functions as needed
  • Communicates positively and effectively with team and management
  • Performs side work and stocks stations properly at shift change
