Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older to serve liquor
- food handlers certification required (assistance provided if needed)
- timely and reliable attendance
- ability to tolerate frequent interruptions
- ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- frequent lifting, carrying, balancing
- constant standing, turning, and walking
- successful completion of background check and drug screen
- employment contingent on E-Verify
- must comply with all club policies
Job Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent
- 1-2 years of waitstaff/server experience
- familiarity with POS systems
- wine and beverage knowledge is a plus
- attention to detail
- mental concentration
- neat and clean personal appearance
- professional, courteous, and respectful attitude toward members, guests, vendors, co-workers, and supervisors
Job Duties
- Reports to the supervisor to receive instructions of any special duties or events
- completes opening and closing duties as assigned by supervisor
- completes all service duties in accordance with the guidelines for high standards of service set forth by River Crest Country Club
- greets members and their guests by last name whenever possible
- ensures that members and their guests receive immediate attention and service upon arrival
- observes all club policies in dealing with members and non-members in club usage
- informs supervisor of any complaints or problems that occur throughout the shift
- ensures that all established service procedures and standards are adhered to and performed with the emphasis on giving superior service to the members
- responsible for bussing tables and resetting tables
