  • Prior restaurant experience preferred
  • valid RAMP/TIPS certification required
  • ability to stand and walk regularly
  • able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
  • capable of performing essential job functions satisfactorily

Job Duties

  • Describe menu and daily specials
  • take orders and enter them into the POS system
  • deliver beer and wine lists
  • open and pour wine when serving guests
  • ensure customers have everything they need to enjoy their meals
  • observe diners to ensure satisfaction with food and service
  • respond to additional requests
  • ring up bills and accept payment or refer guests to the cashier
  • assist bus person in stocking, removing and resetting dishes and silverware between courses, and cleaning and resetting vacated tables
  • possess superior beer, wine and food knowledge
  • prepare tables and maintain throughout service
  • run food quickly and accurately
  • communicate with the kitchen
  • manage section and service
  • maintain side work throughout the shift
  • attend required trainings and meetings
  • deliver an exceptional experience through outstanding hospitality and food service to guests
