Job Requirements

Must be able to relate positively to residents and families
Must be able to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and community officials
Must be capable of maintaining regular and reliable attendance
Must meet all state health requirements
Obtain food handlers permit as required by state regulations
Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience in food service or housekeeping is an advantage
Ability to communicate effectively with residents and team members
Positive attitude towards resident care and teamwork
Basic knowledge of sanitation and food safety practices
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and standing for long periods

Job Duties

Set tables for meals
Buss tables and prepare dishes for washing
Wash and store dishes following facility procedures
Assist cooks in cleaning food serving areas and equipment
Clean dining room tables, chairs, and floors as needed
Help serve meals to residents following facility procedures
Adhere to prescribed safety and sanitation practices
