Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a server role or customer service is advantageous
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service
- Ability to learn and communicate cultural and culinary aspects of Spanish cuisine
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Familiarity with cash handling and POS systems preferred
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
- Ability to follow company policies and procedures
Job Duties
- Promote and sell Sevilla's culinary delights and unique beverages following the Company's Steps of Service
- Follow Sevilla Steps of Service specific to the job code
- Use Opening and Closing Checklists daily to track procedures
- Create the best guest experience and cultivate customer return
- Respond to guest needs promptly
- Enter food and beverage orders into Aloha system following policy
- Evaluate quality of items served and refuse substandard food or drinks
- Oversee activities of busser ensuring proper table maintenance
- Run food whenever possible
- Assist at host stand when possible
- Collect payment and follow cash handling procedures
- Address routine guest concerns and escalate non-routine issues to management
- Maintain side work and room appearance to standards
- Complete end of night side work with manager sign-off
- Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol control policies
- Report maintenance, security, or safety issues immediately
- Carry a tray at all times
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules
- Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction
- Properly set up and manage dinner show service if applicable
- Complete assigned training and tests
- Maintain a positive, team-oriented attitude
- Adhere to uniform policies
- Properly clock in and out and take breaks as scheduled
- Participate in all mandatory staff meetings
- Report any harassment, discrimination, retaliation, or safety issues immediately
