Job Requirements
- Arrives to work on time as scheduled in full uniform
- Greets guests in a warm and friendly manner while acknowledging all guests within five feet
- Follows the steps of service as defined in the Miller's Ale House training materials
- Provides highest level of service by adhering to all Miller's Ale House service standards, creating "Ale House Raving Fans"
- Serves alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards and state alcohol service requirements
- Works directly with other team members to ensure all guest's needs are fulfilled in a timely manner
- Ensures menu knowledge to address guests' questions, including food allergy issues
- Ensures proper food handling and sanitation of work areas
- Maintains neat and organized server stations and front-of-house work areas, including sweeping and mopping as needed
- Ensures work areas are stocked and ready for the next server as well as clean upon departure
- Notifies management immediately of any potential issue with guests, team members, and/or long ticket times
- Works "To Go" station when assigned by management
- Washes hands every 30 minutes throughout the shift
- Serves all food and alcohol within accordance of company standards and state service requirements
- Maintains clean and sanitized work areas
- Works with team members to ensure that safety and sanitation protocol is being executed to company standards
- Supports other front of house functions as needed
- Positively communicates with other team members and management
- Provides exceptional service throughout the entire shift
- Possesses strong communication skills and the ability to work alone as well as with a team
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work with numbers and handle cash
- Basic reading and handwriting skills with ability to operate the restaurant point-of-sale software
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age unless otherwise dictated by state law
- Sets up team members for success at shift change by ensuring side work and stations are properly stocked
