Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of previous experience in a similar role
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
  • strong attention to detail
  • positive 'can do' attitude and willingness to learn
  • knowledge of food and beverage pairings is a plus
  • food handler's permit or willingness to obtain one

Job Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables
  • present menus and answer any questions regarding menu items
  • take accurate food and beverage orders from guests
  • enter orders into the POS system and ensure they are relayed to the kitchen or bar promptly
  • deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
  • check back with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
  • anticipate guests' needs and fulfill them proactively
  • collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth operations
  • process payments accurately and efficiently
  • clean and set up dining areas before, during, and after service
  • follow all safety and sanitation procedures
  • upsell menu items and promote specials
  • assist with opening and closing duties as assigned
