Job Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to lift and carry trays weighing up to 50 pounds
- ability to bend, stoop, and reach frequently
- availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- must adhere to uniform and grooming standards
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years of previous experience in a similar role
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- strong attention to detail
- positive 'can do' attitude and willingness to learn
- knowledge of food and beverage pairings is a plus
- food handler's permit or willingness to obtain one
Job Duties
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables
- present menus and answer any questions regarding menu items
- take accurate food and beverage orders from guests
- enter orders into the POS system and ensure they are relayed to the kitchen or bar promptly
- deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
- check back with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns
- anticipate guests' needs and fulfill them proactively
- collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth operations
- process payments accurately and efficiently
- clean and set up dining areas before, during, and after service
- follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- upsell menu items and promote specials
- assist with opening and closing duties as assigned
