Previous relevant experience as a server in a formal dining room
strong customer service background
team player with a positive attitude
good communication skills
maintain good grooming and proper hygiene
able to lift and carry heavy objects including food trays
able to stand for periods of up to 4 hours and bend and stoop on occasion

Job Duties

Hold strictly to current health and safety standards set in place by the LA Department of Health
work with the team to maintain a positive dining experience for the guests
possess menu knowledge including preparation, ingredients, portion sizes, serving temperatures, quality standards, appearance, texture, taste, garnish, and presentation for all menu items and daily specials
know table numbers, seat positions, and station numbers
ensure assigned tables are clean, polished, and correctly set up with proper china, glassware, silver, and linen
continually clean and maintain tables and stations in a neat and orderly manner
take food and beverage orders accurately, enter orders in the POS system, and communicate them to the back of the house in a timely manner
maintain regular check-backs with guests to address their needs and concerns immediately
maintain proper etiquette for table service
relay guest and staff accidents, complaints, comments, or compliments to the manager on duty
complete all assigned side work before, during, and after shift
work special events as necessary
perform other duties as assigned
