Job Requirements

Reliable transportation
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
Ability to raise a tray weighing up to 25 lbs to shoulder height
Sufficient mobility to move and operate in the work area
Ability to stand and walk during shifts of 4 to 8 hours
Ability to hear well in a noisy environment
Ability to observe and differentiate monetary denominations
Ability to serve all menu products
Ability to operate point of sale systems
Ability to handle potentially hazardous chemicals safely
Meet state, county, or municipal regulations related to health and food handling

Job Qualifications

Effective communication skills in English both orally and in writing
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Excellent guest service skills
Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
Ability to learn basic tasks and follow instructions
Ability to maintain grooming and uniform standards
Ability to demonstrate strong product and menu knowledge
Minimum age of 21 for locations serving alcoholic beverages

Job Duties

Greet guests immediately upon arrival and acknowledge them at departure
Assist with guest seating using proper arrival order and rotation procedures
Take and accurately enter orders on the point of sale system
Suggestively sell menu items to achieve guest check average targets
Prepare beverage orders and some appetizers, salads, and desserts
Deliver food and beverage orders timely and according to standards
Attend to guests during their entire dining experience in a prompt and courteous manner
Address guest complaints and requests promptly and courteously
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room and service area
Complete all required side work including deep cleaning assignments
