Job Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs
- Ability to raise a tray weighing up to 25 lbs to shoulder height
- Sufficient mobility to move and operate in the work area
- Ability to stand and walk during shifts of 4 to 8 hours
- Ability to hear well in a noisy environment
- Ability to observe and differentiate monetary denominations
- Ability to serve all menu products
- Ability to operate point of sale systems
- Ability to handle potentially hazardous chemicals safely
- Meet state, county, or municipal regulations related to health and food handling
Job Qualifications
- Effective communication skills in English both orally and in writing
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent guest service skills
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to learn basic tasks and follow instructions
- Ability to maintain grooming and uniform standards
- Ability to demonstrate strong product and menu knowledge
- Minimum age of 21 for locations serving alcoholic beverages
Job Duties
- Greet guests immediately upon arrival and acknowledge them at departure
- Assist with guest seating using proper arrival order and rotation procedures
- Take and accurately enter orders on the point of sale system
- Suggestively sell menu items to achieve guest check average targets
- Prepare beverage orders and some appetizers, salads, and desserts
- Deliver food and beverage orders timely and according to standards
- Attend to guests during their entire dining experience in a prompt and courteous manner
- Address guest complaints and requests promptly and courteously
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room and service area
- Complete all required side work including deep cleaning assignments
