Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum one year experience preferred in fine dining hospitality or senior living dining service
- Food Safety Certification within 90 days of hire
- CPR and First Aid certification
- ServeSafe certification
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of resident information
- Compliance with local, state, and federal food handling regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours and participate in training
- Physical ability to perform dining room duties including set up and clean up
- Willingness to adhere to community safety and risk management policies
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum one year experience preferred in fine dining hospitality or full-service senior living
- Food Safety Certified within 90 days of employment
- CPR and First Aid certification
- ServeSafe certification
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Competent in organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrated good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills
Job Duties
- Provide support in day-to-day dining room operations while maintaining a high-quality, positive, and safe environment
- Provide dining service training to new care managers
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and assist residents with selections
- Take meal and beverage orders and serve according to guidelines
- Attend pre-meal briefings and maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards
- Perform dining room checklist inspections and maintain side work duties
- Assist in tabletop inventories and support dining room decorum and etiquette
- Review and notate daily resident logs and maintain confidentiality
- Practice safe food handling and complete cleaning assignments
- Partner with community team to ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Participate actively as a team member, attending meetings and training
- Commit to serving residents through principles of service
- Perform other duties as assigned
